Ophir Shoham manages the Family Office of Marius Nacht, one of Israel’s leading serial entrepreneurs and investors. The team has invested in various VC funds and in tens of start-up companies in the fields of life-sciences, healthcare, software, AI, mobility, cyber, sustainability, energy, and semiconductors. In this capacity Ophir also serves as Chairman and Board Member of numerous companies.
Previously he served for 36 years in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and retired as the Director of Defense Research and Development Directorate of the IMOD/IDF with the rank of Rear Admiral. Ophir is a graduate of the 2nd cohort of Talpiot, the IDF’s most elite R&D program. He holds a BSc (Cum Laude) in Physics and Mathematics and MSc (Summa Cum Laude) in Applied Physics.
