How Apos® Helps

Learn about how Apos® reduces pain, helps avoid surgery, and keeps you moving.

Yes, studies show that Apos® patients are avoiding surgery. A study released in 2023 on knee osteoarthrits patients showed that 89% of patients who were candidates for knee replacement surgery were able to avoid surgery for up to six years. And a study released in 2024 on hip osteoarthritis patients showed that 80% were able to avoid surgery for up to five years. More studies are also being conducted on surgery avoidance for other conditions.

Yes, Apos® can help manage bone-on-bone pain. Apos® is clinically proven to significantly reduce pain—patients experience an average of 70% less pain, as found in a study on knee osteoarthritis published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). Over time, this can make everyday activities easier and allow you to move more freely, even with severe joint conditions.

Many feel relief right away as the device helps realign their joints. For others, it may take several weeks or even 3-6 months.

Understanding the root cause of your pain can be a game changer, and our Apos® physical therapists can help you get a clearer picture during your Initial Evaluation.

Have you ever noticed how one problem often leads to another? Knee pain can inhibit the way your body moves, leading to issues like back pain, hip pain, or even more knee pain. But it doesn’t end there. Once your body’s alignment is “out of whack,” it creates a cycle of pain and discomfort that is likely to keep making itself worse over time.

Apos® helps break this downward spiral by retraining your body to move and walk in a healthier, more balanced way.
