With Knee Pain Under Control, Margaret Can Finally Keep Up with Her 12-Year-Old
Margaret J., a mother dealing with severe knee pain and considering surgery, found relief with Apos. Her pain was an eight on some days, but with Apos®, it’s been around a one. Apos® has made it possible for Margaret to stay active and enjoy life, including going out and keeping up with her 12-year-old daughter.
Margaret’s STORY
“My pain levels were between five and eight on a daily basis. The worst days, it was an eight. I was considering knee replacement for my right knee. I’m bone-on-bone, and I don’t have time in my schedule or life right now for the recovery that surgery would take. I was really looking for an alternative—something that was not narcotics, not surgical, and something that worked. I found it.
“I can work more comfortably, meaning standing and walking. My activity level, like doing social things and going out with my daughter—she’s 12 and active, and I’d like to be there with her—has improved. Using this shoe every day has really made a tremendous difference.
“I wasn’t sure when first starting with Appos because it didn’t make sense to me why a shoe would take me out of a pain level from five to eight and, within a week, have me stop taking Advil and go down to a 0.5 to a 1.5 on the pain scale. So, I would say that’s all the proof I need to stay with it.
“To start, you can’t lose. It doesn’t hurt you. If you feel like it’s not going to do anything for you, it certainly won’t harm you, but it is going to help greatly, and I highly recommend it. If all you have to do for physical therapy is put on a pair of shoes in your own home, and then maybe do your morning tasks as you would anyway with the shoes on, and then take them off and start your day—it doesn’t get any easier than that. I’m just thrilled.”
