From Debilitating Pain to Tears of Joy: How Robert Found Relief After Years of Pain

After years of knee pain, Robert struggled not just physically but mentally. Even walking around his own home became a challenge.

From his first experience with Apos®, Robert felt he could walk naturally again—a feeling he hadn’t had in years. In just one month, Robert made so much progress that it literally brought tears to his eyes.

Robert’s Story

“I’ve had knee problems for a couple of years now. The mental part of this injury has been more severe for me than the physical part of it. Just being at home, it was difficult for me to get up and walk to the bathroom.

“The first day that I came in here and I put these [Apos® foot-worn device] on, I cried because I could move and I could walk like a normal person again, and I hadn’t had that feeling in almost two years.

“Last month, when I came in and they showed me the progress that I had just in one month, I cried again. Out of everything that I’ve done in the past two years for some kind of treatment, this has been the most effective for me.

“So I’m really super excited with the Apos® therapy. I have two goals basically: I want to be able to walk without any discomfort And then my second goal is to get back up to running.

“I’ve been a long-distance runner for 40 years. Every week or two weeks, I notice an increase in my activity level. This past Sunday, I was actually able to walk a mile and a half, and it really got me excited being able to do that.

“Most of the doctors that I’ve spoken to have said, “You probably won’t be able to get back to running again.” But based on the results I’m seeing with the Apos® therapy, I feel that there is some hope that I may be able to get back to running, at least at an introductory level where I can go out and run a few miles and feel comfortable.“
